Who I am
My name is Reagan McKinley Longwith, and I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I was lucky enough to have nerdy parents; they surrounded me by Star Wars and Indiana Jones, action figures and toys, and all the way to Mama Mia and Hairspray. I would find myself struck in awe every time we would go to the movies, and I would always feel ten feet tall leaving. I soon discovered myself diving into the world of movies and television, knowing in my bones that this is what I want to do.
My Time at the Conservatory
In my first year at the conservatory, I learned the techniques of the greats, how to use my voice and body to propel myself, and I started to build my foundation on approaching a role.
In my final year, I learned how to break down and dissect a script, which led me to find specificity. I found how to make the most interesting and strong choices, and how to use my voice and body to effectively deliver. Most importantly, I found the actress that I am, and I how to be myself in a role.
After graduating, I am proud to say that I am confident in my abilities and who I am as an actress.
